    Description
    We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our financial accounting and reporting processes.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and a strong background in fixed assets management.

    This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and implementing best practices in accounting processes.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Manage the ASC 842 lease accounting process, including lease classification, recognition, measurement, and disclosure, in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

    Oversee the fixed assets accounting function, including capitalization, depreciation/amortization, impairment testing, and reconciliation of fixed asset accounts.
    Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
    Conduct regular reviews and analyses of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
    Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures for internal and external reporting purposes.
    Support external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
    5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on lease accounting and fixed assets.
    Thorough understanding of ASC 842 lease accounting standards and their application in financial reporting.
    Strong knowledge of fixed assets accounting principles, including capitalization criteria, depreciation methods, and impairment testing.
    Experience with accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
    Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
    Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
