    The salary range offered is an estimate and not directly Sysco's range, but provided for general comparison. Factors such as skills, work location, experience, and other specific elements may determine the actual pay rate.

    Job Summary:

    This sales role focuses on promoting products and services, as well as nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients. The main objective is to support FreshPoint customers in achieving success while reaching the sales and profit targets set by the company. This position may involve working non-traditional hours, like evenings, weekends, and holidays, to effectively meet customer demands.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop new business, retain existing accounts, and reduce lost business to drive profitable sales growth and meet special objectives within the designated territory.
    • Identify and qualify prospects in line with company account segmentation objectives.
    • Research customer requirements and offer a range of products and services to fulfill their needs.
    • Analyze market trends, suggest products to customers based on their business objectives, and keep them informed about industry conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings.
    • Address customer queries regarding products, prices, availability, and usage.
    • Deliver product information and hands-on training to customer staff.
    • Use personal vehicle for visiting customer locations, attending events, and company gatherings, if needed.

    Education Required:

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

    Education Preferred:

    Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts

    Experience Required:

    At least 6 months of sales or restaurant management experience

    Experience Preferred:

    1 year of relevant foodservice sales experience outside the office

    Licensees/Certification Required:

    • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record, including no multiple DUIs in the past 2 years.
    • Current automobile insurance meeting specified liability limits is mandatory.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Proficient in basic PC operations and MS Outlook.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

    Physical Demands:

    Reasonable adjustments will be considered to support individuals with disabilities in performing the essential job functions.

    • Regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, using hands and fingers for computer work, and talking on the phone.
    • Frequent reaching with hands and arms and occasionally lifting or moving up to 20 pounds.
