- 5-7 years of corporate income tax experience (Corporate tax department and/or public accounting)
- Experience in federal and state corporate income tax compliance and ASC 740 tax accounting
- Experience with Tax Compliance Software (Corptax), Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft are a plus
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Strong communication skills

Description
Interim Senior Tax Accountant
Position Summary
The Senior Tax Accountant is primarily responsible for the preparation and filing of the US federal consolidated and state corporate income tax returns and supporting the ASC 740 tax provision calculations. Additionally, will perform estimated tax calculations, forecasts, and assist in other projects as assigned.
Functions and Responsibilities
Prepare the US consolidated federal corporate income tax return filings, including proforma Form 1120 returns and support the US consolidation. Assist in the preparation and/or review of state income tax compliance.
Prepare the current and deferred tax calculations, rate reconciliation, supporting calculation and work papers and documentation for ASC 740. Prepares journal entries in PeopleSoft. Assist in consolidating the worldwide tax provision on a legal entity basis. Assist in reporting and the proper presentation in financial systems.
Assist with tax modeling, projections, and forecasts and quarterly estimated federal tax payments. Prepare quarterly tax account reconciliation of general ledger tax accounts.
Assist with special projects on as needed basis, tax audits, and other tax notice responses
