    Position Description:
    Ryerson has an opportunity for a Tax Analyst to join our team.

    As a Tax Analyst, you are responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision work papers to build expertise in ASC 740 requirements.

    Role and responsibilities include:

    • Prepare income tax account reconciliations and coordinate tax entries with the accounting department
    • Analyze fixed asset addition, disposal, and transfer details in the tax books
    • Preparation of the consolidated federal income tax returns.
    • Assist with the preparation of various separate company and combined/unitary state income tax returns
    • Respond to various federal, state, and local income tax notices
    • Research various federal, international, state, and local income tax issues
    • Participate in federal, state, and local income tax audits

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 1 plus year of experience (preferred) or previous Tax internship experience
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills
    • Demonstrate an ability to perform within a team environment and add to the overall success of the team
