    Description
    :

    We are seeking friendly, outgoing gift and clothing associates. The gift and clothing associates help in creating a positive, professional, and safe work environment. Applicants will assist in solving customer problems and customize service to provide customers an amazing experience every time.

    Responsibilities include:

    Customer Service:


    • Initiate conversation, present products with enthusiasm and ask open-ended questions to determine customer needs
    • Answer questions about merchandise and outline features and benefits with accuracy
    • Accurately advise the customer on use/care of the merchandise
    • Always thank customers for visiting and encourage them to return
    • Utilize add-on selling, cross-selling, and merchandise upgrading techniques to maximize sales
    Other Responsibilities:


    • Folding and merchandising clothing and/or gift products
    • Receiving and maintaining stock
    • Keeping shelves/displays organized and clean
    • Maintain an awareness of potential shoplifters and report any theft to management
    • Assist cashiers as needed

    Requirements:

    High School or GED equivalent
    Retail experience preferred
    Customer service experience preferred
    Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business. ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS IS A REQUIREMENT.
    Standing, walking, bending for at least 7-8 hours per shift
    Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
    Ability to climb ladders
