Description
We are seeking the ideal Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments on American Veterans as part of the VA's process for disability benefits.
When performing Disability Assessments, you will examine medical records online via a web portal and conduct a focused physical examination on each Veteran in person.
You will electronically record the examination findings required by the VA through the web portal.
The Nurse Practitioner is not responsible for making disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration handles all disability determinations.
This role exclusively conducts Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will not provide treatment or prescribe medication in this role.
This role conducts Disability Assessments on an average of 3-5 Veterans daily.
Schedule: Part-Time: 8am-4pm
Weekends: (Sat-Sun)
This is an IN-PERSON position.
