    Description

    We are in search of the perfect Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    When performing Disability Assessments, you will examine medical records digitally via a web portal and conduct a focused, in-person physical examination on each Veteran.

    You will record the examination findings required by the VA electronically through the web portal.

    The Nurse Practitioner is not responsible for making disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration handles all disability determinations.

    This role is solely for conducting Disability Assessments on Veterans. There is no involvement in treatment or prescribing medication in this position.

    On average, this position conducts Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.

    Schedule: Part-Time: 8am-4pm

    Weekends- (Sat-Sun)

    This is an ON-SITE position.

    Key Attributes:

    • Enthusiastic about conducting Independent Medical Assessments.
    • Able to interpret data from medical records and examination findings to complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions.
    • Proficient in time management, capable of staying on task and meeting requirements.
    • Must possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
    • Adept at computer usage.
