    Description

    We are searching for the right Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical evaluations on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    When conducting Disability Assessments, you will examine medical records electronically via a web portal and perform a focused, face-to-face physical assessment on each Veteran.

    You will digitally record the examination findings required by the VA through the web portal.

    The Nurse Practitioner DOES NOT determine disabilities. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.

    This role SOLELY conducts Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT provide treatment or prescribe medications in this role.

    This role conducts Disability Assessments on an average of 3-5 Veterans per day.

    Schedule: Part-Time: 8am-4pm

    Weekends: (Sat-Sun)

    This is an IN-PERSON role.

    Key Attributes:

    • Passionate about conducting Independent Medical Assessments.
    • Capable of analyzing data from medical records and examination findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
    • Proficient in time management, able to focus and meet requirements.
    • Must possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
    • Proficient in computer usage.

    Requirements

    • Must hold a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
