    Description

    We are in search of the ideal Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans involved in the VA's disability benefits review process.

    When conducting Disability Assessments, you will examine medical records digitally via a web platform and conduct a focused, face-to-face physical assessment on each Veteran.

    You will digitally record the examination findings mandated by the VA through the web interface.

    The Nurse Practitioner does not determine disability status. The United States Veterans Administration is responsible for all disability decisions.

    This role exclusively handles Disability Assessments for Veterans. There will be no treatment or medication prescription involved.

    This role entails conducting Disability Assessments for an average of 3-5 Veterans daily.

    Schedule: Part-Time: 8am-4pm

    Weekends: (Saturday-Sunday)

    This is an ON-SITE role.

    Key Qualities:

    • Passion for conducting Independent Medical Assessments.
    • Aptitude for analyzing data from medical records and examination results to complete assessments and form medical judgments.
    • Proficient in time management, capable of staying focused and meeting deadlines.
    • Thoroughly understand and hold a current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
    • Proficient in computer usage.

    Prerequisites

    • Must possess a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
