    Network Connex, through our operating companies, Advantage Engineers, CCSI Networks, Fairhaven, National Technologies and Verticom, provides network design and implementation services for some of the world's most sophisticated networking and data infrastructure companies. Our clients include wireless service providers, network service providers, cable MSO's, data center operators, hyperscale cloud companies, and Fortune 500 enterprises.

    Lead Job Summary: The Lead will assist the Foreman to oversee the production and quality and safety of their crew members.

    Job Duties:

    • Accountable for the safety, quality, schedule and cost on assigned projects.
    • Responsible for assuring availability of resources with proper expertise and tools to support assigned project execution.
    • Must have ability to read and understand customer provided prints and determine required tasks.
    • Serves as main point of contact between Foreman and crew members.
    • Responsible for managing 6-12 crew members on a day-to-day basis.
    • Reports project status and performance data as required to management.
    • Inspect completed work to ensure that all tasks pertaining to construction were performed to company/customer standards.
    • Prepare closeout documentation for each phase of the job as completed.
    • Efficiently plan and schedule all work activities.
    • Utilize all crew members and equipment assigned to you.
    • Responsible for meeting scheduled completion dates.
    • Hold daily meetings before beginning work.
    • Take pictures of all phases of the job completed.
    • Maintain company issued equipment includes but not limited to Vehicle, trailer and test equipment.

    Experience and Education:

    • 3+ years of experience in the Telecommunications industry with related experience in construction and fiber installation.

    Competencies / Skills:

    • Ability to pass a drug screening.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license.
    • Must be willing to travel.
    • Strong written and oral communication is required.
    • Must have Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
    • Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as well as having a strong work ethic.
