We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Lead to join our team.As a Network Lead, you will be responsible for successfully leading and managing a crew of up to 16 technicians, ensuring the efficient execution of network projects.
You will play a crucial role in performing job walks, understanding customer requirements, and communicating effectively with both internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Lead and manage a crew of up to 16 technicians, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Take responsibility for selfperformance outcomes and provide leadership for employees reporting to you.
- Perform thorough job walks, understand customer requirements, and ensure seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and control labor and materials on assigned projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Utilize your previous experience as a Network Technician to guide and support the team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, network architecture, and cabling standards.
- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot network cables, demonstrating proficiency in both copper and fiber cabling.
- Manage and maintain detailed network documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with QAQC on quality status walks, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Effectively communicate with Foreman, Leads, Techs, and customers to ensure project success.
- Share knowledge with colleagues, assist in problem resolution, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Understand and track metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) effectively to meet organizational standards.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to performance metrics.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of network handover, project closeout, and lessons learned.
- Track lessons learned throughout projects and contribute to the improvement of future processes.
- Identify technicians' strengths and weaknesses, providing guidance and training opportunities as needed.
- Efficiently manage time to handle tasks and projects within deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Primarily walking, standing, and bending for extended periods with some sitting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written, visual and listening skills.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as well as to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to pull cables.
- Ability to climb ladders and work on raised platforms.

From $37.00 per hour
