Job Opening Summary:

Under the guidance and direction of the Enviromental Services (EVS) supervisor, this position must perform all functions within the department.

The EVS lead is responsible for monitoring the EVS team members in their assigned areas, monitoring the bed board for discharge activity and answering the lead phone.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates respect for the customer, both internal and external.
Immediately informs supervisor of issues and problems.
Demonstrates compliance with all HCAHPS behaviors to allow patients and families to have an excellent hospital experience.
Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame.
Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers and mentoring/precepting of new team members.
Attends staff meetings and completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
Seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty.
Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members.
Completes other duties as requested/assigned.

Job Opening Qualifications:
Education**- High school diploma/GED
