Program SpecialistThe Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Division, Prevention Bureau.
This position is in the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Division. This position oversees the planning, implementation, and contract management of prevention and recovery activities, under the SAMHSA Grant and behavioral health interventions within the prevention settings. The Grant seeks to increase access to medication for opioid use disorder, reduce unmet treatment needs, and reduce opioid overdose related deaths. This position is responsible for leading the development of evidence-based prevention interventions for both opioid and stimulant use disorders including naloxone training, distribution, and expansion programs, and health intervention awareness campaigns. This position will coordinate strategic initiatives with service providers, communities, local and state law enforcement, Director's Office staff, stakeholders, and technical assistance providers to implement programs to fidelity, evaluate the impact of programs, and support program sustainability.
