- Architect and construct multiple highly available distributed services
- Develop clean, reusable, and well-tested RESTful APIs and web services, encompassing Highspot's external API
- Contribute to designing and implementing new product features and functionalities
- Collaborate across teams with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to craft software that resonates with customers
- Contribute to both internal and external technical documentation
- 8+ years of substantial professional experience in software engineering, exclusive of internships/co-ops
- Extensive track record in architecting SaaS platforms at scale
- Proficiency in various backend technologies and a good grasp of industry trends
- Strong command of cloud computing, containerization, and large-scale distributed systems
- Skilled in Kubernetes, CI/CD technologies, and Observability tools
- Solid understanding of enterprise search, search architecture, and database technologies
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset: adaptable, innovative, resourceful, and persistent in problem-solving and goal achievement
- Familiarity with contemporary open source technologies and tools
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

What You'll Do
Your Background
Base salary range: $154,000 - $252,000. In addition, employees may be eligible for bonuses, stock options, and other compensation forms.
