    The Sales Development Representative Role:

    In this role you'll be working with our senior sales team to nurture incoming leads and to schedule appointments, field questions, follow up on inquiries, send out information packages, and assist in maintaining the company client database. The primary outcome of your role is to secure at least 30-40 qualified clients per month that sit for appointments.

    This position offers a base salary plus uncapped commissions.

    Competitive EDGE Physical Therapy is a quickly expanding specialized sports medicine and biomechanics center in San Jose California and a growing digital online education and coaching business. At Competitive EDGE our vision is to change the field of physical therapy by using the latest in 3D motion technology and feedback while providing a world-class concierge client experience. Locally, we serve Bay Area athletes and clients to help them stay active, improve their movement, and enhance their sports performance and serve as the biomechanics team for the San Jose Earthquakes Pro Soccer Team.
    Over the last 5 years, Competitive EDGE has experienced rapid growth in the Bay Area while becoming one of the highest rated physical therapist centers.
    Competitive EDGE focuses on 1:1 client service and strives to treat every client like family.

    Your Responsibilities in This Role:
    • To follow up on leads that have come in for a discovery or evaluation following the company's lead follow-up process to qualify them, classify their interest, and route them to the right "next step" in our process. Also update their information in CRM and ultimately schedule for appointment where appropriate
    • To make 50+ outbound calls per day to follow up on various marketing campaigns we've sent out to prospects to schedule a consult and to call on leads that are waiting to schedule an appointment
    • To call an confirm appointments to reduce no-shows
    • To assist in rescheduling clients that request to reschedule or cancel or who no-show for their appointments (consults)
    • To update all records in CRM with complete information. This includes keeping records of conversations, emails, status of leads in our system. We run multiple offers/campaigns at once requiring knowledge of those offers and the following of that process
    • To use the company's database and online platforms to find prospects and set appointments for "discovery call"
    • To assist in any manner possible at our virtual and live events which may include working a table, customer service, and production of the event.
    • To grow in personal and professional development of sales strategy, technique, scripts, and client engagement.

    • To be a careful understudy of the sales/marketing team and learn all products, price points and promotions so you can assist in closing sales. This will require a detailed knowledge of all products, including sponsorship projects, webinars, speaking engagements etc

    Skills This Position Requires:
    • Extreme attention to detail and being highly organized. In this role, updating all fields in our database is critical for flow and process.
    • Excellent project and time management skills
    • Ability to independently work and meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and navigate digital software

    Other Requirements:
    • At least one year's experience in a successful inside sales position, preferably setting appointments in a business-to-customer environment.
    • Extremely detail-oriented and appreciates people who take an organized, systematic approach to achieving success.
    • Likes to work in a small company where your input, contributions and ideas will directly impact the company's growth and success.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    • Competitive base pay
    • Uncapped commissions
    • $200 medical premium stipend per month
    • 2-weeks paid vacation plus the week off between Christmas and New Year's
    • 3% matching SIMPLE IRA plan

    • Base Salary: $50,000-65,000
