Direct hire opening for a Project Engineer for a role focused on civil and environmental engineering projects for multiple clients.

Hybrid work schedule.

Our client is seeking a dedicated Civil Project Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in planning, designing, and facilitating civil engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D and analysis modules, as well as a passion for delivering excellence in civil engineering solutions for clients.

R esponsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams to develop and execute civil engineering project designs.

Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and analysis modules to create detailed project plans, drawings, and models.

Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility and gather data.

Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.

Foster strong client relationships and communicate project progress effectively.

Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions to overcome project challenges.

Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in project execution.

Travel to other offices/meet with clients/attend project-specific meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

4 to 8 years of experience in civil engineering project design and management.

EIT required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and analysis modules.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Familiarity with project management software a plus

Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.

Current, valid driver's license required.
