Richardson Texas based QSR Corporate Office looking for full time ON-SITE Help Desk Technician to join growing team. Our Ideal IT technician candidate will be expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with colleagues from various departments, executive levels, and store managers. They are required to listen to their technical needs, understand their problems, and implement solutions to them.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the detailed asset register and database for the restaurant equipment on a store-by-store basis.
Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Assist in and plan training, development and education for new software and hardware.
Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes.
Maintain hardware and software inventory.
Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
Managing technical documentation.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
Microsoft/Azure accreditation advantageous.
QSR POS database knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Experience in database programming and software installation.
Attention to detail.
Good problem-solving skills.
