    Description

    The Assistant Controller will play a pivotal role in supporting the private credit funds by assisting the Finance team in achieving fund finance objectives. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for various key duties and activities, including but not limited to:

    1. Month-End NAV Process: Oversee the month-end NAV process, including reviewing fund administrator reports and conducting monthly NAV verification.
    2. Fund Structure Accounting: Interpret constitutional documents and private placement memorandums to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions within fund structures.
    3. Operational Deliverables: Execute tasks necessary to operate the funds and ensure timely completion of deadlines.
    4. Investment Transaction Review: Analyze documents related to investment purchases to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
    5. Fund Performance Assessment: Evaluate the performance of the fund and its underlying strategy.
    6. Audit Liaison: Collaborate with auditors of the fund families.
    7. Investor Reporting: Assist with finance-related requirements for investor reporting.
    8. Ad Hoc Projects: Undertake ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

    Company Requirements:

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment funds, fund administration, public accounting, or similar roles.
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
    • Preferred qualification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
    • Strong understanding of fundamental financial and accounting principles, including US GAAP and IFRS.
    • Proficiency in Excel and general data management; additional IT skills are advantageous.
    • Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive process improvement, particularly in process automation.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ownership mentality with proven organizational skills to adapt to changing client needs and deliver results within agreed-upon timeframes.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong prioritization skills to handle numerous ad hoc responsibilities effectively.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to solve problems using data and sound reasoning.
    • Self-motivated, professional, and flexible, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
