    Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring a Medical Benefits Consultant for our client that leads the world in vision insurance.

    The candidate will be the liaison between our client and the local school district to serve and educate employees on vision benefit programs and wellness initiatives.

    Title: Medical Benefits Consultant

    Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour

    Location: Working on site in Miami, FL 33132

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

    Duration: Till Jul 04, 2024.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    • They will need to travel about 15-20 times per year throughout Dade County.
    • Handle walk-in traffic with benefit questions.
    • Handle benefit phone calls from employees regarding vision plan.
    • Travel to schools throughout district to educate employees on benefits programs and wellness.
    • Attend Health Fairs & Open Enrollment Events.
    • Work eligibility exception and eligibility reports for the school district.
    • Handle paperwork for COBRA applicants.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience with the administration of medical/healthcare plans.
    • Ability to provide a high level of personalized customer service over the phone and face to face.
    • Good driving record and reliable transportation to travel to school locations.
    • Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
