    Job Purpose

    The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering process improvements within our end-to-end compliance processes programs and transformational initiatives and support the overall Gas Pipeline Safety and Compliance Strategy.

    Key Accountabilities

  • As a qualified Improvement Manager, lead Gas projects and compliance assessments across business functions. Acting as an internal consultant to make professional recommendations for business improvements, while facilitating and coaching others on projects and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Build positive relationships at all levels of the organization, including project teams, and process team.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues that impact project progress.
  • Use standard project management tools and methodologies such as charters, communications plans, risk registers, etc.
  • Proactively build and maintain internal and external networks in building the gas process team brand, to effectively develop and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Facilitates cross functional discussions with effective use of open & close ended questions, controls the room, manages conflict, leverage SME's and drives to action. Coaches team on facilitation.
  • Qualifications

  • A college degree, preferably in an analytical discipline
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years related professional experience.
  • Experience in leading a cross functional team to deliver tangible business benefits.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement discipline.
  • Strong communication skills both oral & written.
  • Understanding of change management challenges related to process improvement.
  • Ability to think across different processes and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks and navigate through shifting or competing priorities.
  • Confident and able to challenge behaviors and issues.

    Salary Range Down State NY- $109,000 - $128,000 Up State NY- $90,000 - $106,000 New England - $101,000 - $119,000 This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
