    The Performance Improvement Specialist position at Montefiore Medical Group entails a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery within the organization.

    Responsibilities include analyzing clinical and operational processes to identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing strategies to address inefficiencies, and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented initiatives.

    The specialist collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to establish performance metrics, track key performance indicators, and drive initiatives to achieve organizational goals related to patient care, safety, and satisfaction.

    Additionally, the role involves facilitating staff education and training programs to promote a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.

    The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    Responsibilities:

    Work closely with the Quality Improvement and Informatics (QI&I) team to disseminate and educate colleagues regarding multiple MMG-wide and site-specific quality dashboards and scorecards and performance improvement activities throughout MMG.

    Coach and mentor
    MMGSite-based and MMG-wide teams in undertaking process and performance improvement work from project scoping and design, execution/implementation, and measurement.

    Must be knowledgeable in a range of performance improvement methodologies, including but not limited to Lean-Six Sigma, the IHI Model for Improvement, Change Management (ADKAR) and implementation science.

    Ability to effectively work and collaborate with
    MMGclinical and administrative colleagues, alike. Possess strong communication skills, demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, and outstanding time management and organizational skills are required.


    Requirements:

    Demonstrated experience with leading/participating in healthcare PI initiatives Bachelors with 3 years experience in healthcare or Masters with 1 year experience in healthcare Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and interpretationShift: Monday Friday 8:30a-5:00pAssociates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension.

    Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department.

    Probationary period is six (6) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.

    Pay Rate:
    $65, $87,600.00For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayedrate is the hiringrate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
