PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM ANALYST

Flushing Hospital has a career opportunity for a Performance Improvement System Analyst. The PI Systems Analyst works with and under the direction of the Directors of Performance Improvement.

The analyst must be able to create databases, build clinical dashboards, manage data and develop reports. The analyst must be able to troubleshoot and resolve computer based technical problems within the department. The analyst must be attentive to detail in record-keeping and meet set timelines.

His/her scope of responsibility encompasses use of quality databases (NDNQI), learning management systems (MSPDI) and policy and procedures software programs (Policy Medical).

General office responsibilities include answering phones, arranging in person and virtual meetings, audiovisual support, and file management.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience, computer training
Advanced to expert computer skills and current technology (Outlook, Webex, Teams)
Microsoft Office expertise (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access)
Proficient in timely data collection, aggregation, and report generation
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
