- Participate & lead projects that impact the business, as well as develop consistent messaging across company-wide HR teams.
- Work closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational change, and employee development at the business unit or division level.
- Help drive HR focused campaigns and engagement activities.
- Effectively communicate with and influence employees at all levels.
- Advising on and managing employee relations issues, including conflicts and disciplinary matters.
- Work with the Utica site engagement committee on activities.
- Coordinate employee recognition events that celebrate, recognize and reward our team members.
- Support Managers with goal setting and performance reviews, as well as talent development plans for their team members.
- Lead Gallup Q12 employee survey process, quarterly action planning and employee listening sessions.
- Create & verify approval of organizational announcements.
- Handle all aspects of position management for hourly team members including requisition approvals, staffing management, transfers, promotions and merit planning.
- Oversee the timely and quality completion of all Q1 processes-performance reviews, merit, and goal setting.
- Work closely with leaders on all aspects of total performance management.
- Process employee separations, conduct exit interviews analyze and report on data for improvements.
- Work with employees and leaders on leave management and associated timekeeping
- Work closely with leaders on all employee matters, including corrective actions, performance and improvement plans.
- Conduct training on and enforce all pertinent policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with employees.
- Collaborative partnerships with HR team members and shared services.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with supervisory team and site leader.
- Able to convey messages clearly verbally and in writing matched with exceptional listening skills.
