    Description
    Title:Corporate Sales Manager

    Reports To:Vice President of Corporate Partnerships
    Summary:

    The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for corporate sponsorship, renewals and activation as well as upselling renewal customers as opportunities arise, for both the Utica Comets, Utica City FC and The Utica University Nexus Center.This position is also responsible for building relationships with current clients and fostering relationships with new clients.
    Responsibilities:
    • Create and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations to meet partner's objectives
    • Make sales calls to partners and any assigned clients and follow up as necessary
    • Meet or exceed yearly individual and team sales goals
    • Represent the organization at off-site community events and networking events to add and interact with partners
    • Collaborate and interact with front office team to implement sponsorships and contract fulfillment
    • Work with the front office team to achieve the objectives of the advertising sales, marketing, tickets and community relations departments
    • Network and build relationships in Utica and the surrounding region
    • Provide excellent customer service and care to all clients
    • Collaborate with community relations department to execute player and staff appearances at partner events or other community events
    • Other duties as assigned
    Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business or related field preferred
    • Ability to present sales material to potential clients
    • Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to solve problems quickly
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and database programs
    • Valid driver's license and ability to drive for organizational business
    • Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
    • Expected salary is $40,000-55,000.
