1.


Sales Expertise:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for seed products and precision agriculture technologies. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Stay abreast of developments in seed technology and precision agriculture. Knowledge of products offered and Northern Partners Cooperative's marketing approach for products and services. Stay informed about the latest developments in seed technology, crop genetics, and agronomic practices. Growing the current market share and assisting in developing competitive marketing strategies. Make sales calls to all target customers in the trade area and promote the cooperative. Provide ongoing training to direct reports on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion and new business development. (25%)

Customer Service & Safety**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers. Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs and address any concerns. Work closely with other team members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing technical support. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. Conduct training sessions for customers on the features and benefits of various seed products. Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on optimal planting practices. Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently. Coordinate to ensure timely delivery of seed products. Maintain a positive culture for both staff and patrons. Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, thank them for their business. Ensure customers are informed on safe product handling. Keep current on all safety practices and procedures. If conditions arise, make the Safety, Health, Environmental, & Quality Director aware. (25%)

Operations Management:

Oversee all operations at the seed location, including seed processing, packaging, storage, and distribution, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Manage inventory levels of seeds, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of materials. Implement quality control measures to ensure that seeds meet industry standards and customer expectations. Coordinate shipments of seeds to various destinations, ensuring timely delivery. Oversee maintenance activities at the seed location, including equipment upkeep, facility cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to seed production, storage, and distribution. Maintain open communication channels with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to address any issues or concerns promptly. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for seed division activities, including seed production, storage, and distribution. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity. Responsible for daily processes, anticipating and problem solving and ensuring seed operations run smoothly. Provide guidance, support, and direction to all direct reports. Responsible for determining staffing needs, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and coaching staff. Recommend promotions, retention, and terminations. Build comradery and team spirit. Hold staff meetings, plan local events, and communicate with individual staff members on a regular basis. (25%)

Marketing Analysis:
Work with management and direct reports to establish yearly sales and gross margin goals. When working with customers, observe and recommend proper recommendations encouraging repeat sales by enhancing the customers' profitability. Strive to minimize product problems due to your recommendations. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Collect and report market intelligence to support product development and marketing strategies. Set sales targets and performance metrics, regularly monitoring, and evaluating team performance. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, detailing key performance indicators, sales trends, and forecasts. Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. (10%)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product development and marketing efforts. Work closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction and product improvement. Provide coaching and support to ensure other team members meet
