    What We Need


    DFT is looking for a Quality Manager to help lead the company through an exciting period of expansion of the Quality team and its structure.

    The Quality Manager is responsible for creating quality processes and procedures and ensuring that the company adheres to the quality protocols needed to produce the highest quality product.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in ISO implementation and will be excited about creating and establishing quality processes that will yield both immediate and long-term improvements within the company.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality programs that eliminate new and existing defects, and conform with ISO standards
    • Implement documented methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
    • Lead ISO implementation / certification
    • Direct the activities of the quality staff / manage a team of Test Technicians and Test Engineers
    • Work with suppliers to resolve quality assurance issues
    • Create and track both internal and vendor quality metrics to identify continuous improvement action items and drive product quality improvements
    • Ensure that products adhere to customer quality standards
    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data through Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central) and Power BI
    • Train quality assurance team and production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of products
    • Other duties as assigned
    Required

    Skills/Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Management or related field
    • 58 years of experience in a manufacturing quality manager, quality supervisor, or senior quality engineering role
    • A proven track record of success in implementing and maintaining quality systems in regulated markets
    • Experience implementing quality management systems compliant with ISO9001:2015 International Standard
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
    • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and procedures
    • Six Sigma Certification is preferred
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
    • Must be willing and able to obtain a US Security clearance
    • Must be willing and able to work overtime if needed
    • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
    • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, twist, and climb frequently
    Preferred Qualifications

    • Significant experience developing and implementing quality management processes in small to midsized organizations
    • Proven track record with implementing and reaching ISO 9001 certification in one or more organizations
    • Experience working alongside and collaborating with a product development team to include development and system testing groups
    • Familiarity working within a program management structure and delivering quality systems to defense customers
    What We Offer

    Salary Range - $100,000-$130,000


    The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.

    Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
