We are looking for an Administrative Assistant whose primary responsibility is to assist the Marketing and Communications team in the execution of their daily operations.
This position requires full knowledge and experience in Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) as well as familiarity with social media and email platforms.
Areas of responsibility include the following:
Assist and Coordinate:
Social Media postings
Maintaining Blog site – WordPress
Marketing Requests via ALX
Develop and maintain Trade Show Marketing database for pre and post-sales efforts
Maintain ALC information on Government websites, submit documents as necessary
VIP Carrier Rewards program
Campaigner maintenance and support
Marketing campaign development utilizing Constant Contact
Submit and track nominations for various awards
Lead special mailings and newsletters for:
Printing
Creating labels
Mailing
Return mailings
All proofing of e-newsletters, press releases, correspondence
The writing and mailing of correspondence
General Office Duties
Coordinate UPS outgoing and incoming packages
Coordinate incoming faxes and mail
Answer phones
Maintain individual and office databases
Maintain department files
Tracking expiration dates on forms (i.e. insurance certificates) maintain current versions on the marketing Portal
Other Functions
Work together with the other members of the MarCom team as a cohesive and coordinated team
Other duties as necessary to support the MarCom team to meet goals
Skills and Experience
College degree highly desired or equivalent experience
Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of 1 year experience
Excellent and effective communication skills
Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
Ability to think outside the box
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-task
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
