- Handle all inquiries for events, fundraisers, catering and large parties with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Help create effective systems and procedures for the growing events department.
- Schedule, collect payment and coordinate all events, working to upsell packages.
- Coordinate necessary staffing levels, technology needs, decor and furniture, and specialty menus for events; taking ownership of the event from start to finish.
- Communicate and plan any catering needs with the kitchen manager and staff.
- Prepare specialty menus if applicable.
- Coordinate with tech manager if any special content is being used
- Set up lobby, patio, and/or theatre for each event.
- Transfer all applicable orders to one tab (if the group has requested to pay for food/bev) and prepare the check for group leader, being sure to close out all open checks.
- Fill out event reporting spreadsheet, being sure to report and allocate tips accurately
- Handle all donations, charity events, and fundraising efforts
- Attend scheduled events when needed
- Correspond with guests on all inquiries, complaints, requests, etc. (within 48 hours)
- Send professionally worded thank you notes after events.
- Interact with all guests and interested parties in a professional and positive manner, working to build relationships and a positive reputation in the community.
- Work with the marketing team to advertise events and connect with the community to generate customer interest.
- Embrace teamwork by assisting the General Manager and Corporate team in the development and execution of sales plans that maximize corporate and social markets.
- Meet or exceed budgeted sales targets, driving community outreach, handling inquiries and upselling our most inclusive packages.
- Proactively engage in outbound sales strategies to grow event sales.
- Help out on the floor with operations when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Event coordinating experience.
- High proficiency in areas of writing, communication and critical thinking.
- Basic math skills and acquaintance with understanding/writing contracts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, innovation and creativity.
- Extensive knowledge of RoadHouse menu, movie schedule and must be trained in each department

We will be adding a family event center to our RoadHouse Tucson location. This event center will have arcade games, a redemption center, bowling, laser tag, top golf entertainment, etc We need an Event Manager who can help us build an Events Program from the ground up, for our new entertainment center
