    Position Overview

At Apollo, we're a global team of alternative investment managers passionate about delivering uncommon value to our investors and shareholders. With over 30 years of proven expertise across Private Equity, Credit and Real Estate, regions and industries, we're known for our integrated businesses, our strong investment performance, our value-oriented philosophy - and our people.

Apollo has significantly grown its Citizenship initiatives since their launch in 2020. The programs aim to foster, develop and increase the firm's impact on our communities, by offering philanthropic, volunteer, and other forms of engagement programs to strengthen communities and amplify global impact.

Launched in 2022, the Apollo Opportunity Foundation (the "Foundation") expands opportunity for historically underrepresented groups in our communities through philanthropic investments in career education, workforce development, and economic empowerment.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apollo Global Management is seeking a full-time Program Associate to support efforts across Citizenship and the Apollo Opportunity Foundation. This position will report to the Global Head of Citizenship. There are a variety of projects and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

    • Orchestrate "Citizenship Grants" program (matching gifts and volunteer rewards), reviewing all employee requests in Benevity software weekly, ensuring compliance with Citizenship Guidelines.
    • Build and update content on Benevity software, including volunteer event sign-up pages, unique giving opportunities (ex: disaster relief), and news stories.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with non-profit partners across regions to offer a range of engagement opportunities for the employee base.
    • Draft internal and external communications, including but not limited to memos, articles, talking points, and press releases.
    • Perform ad hoc research and contribute to projects to drive the overall success of Citizenship.
    Foundation
    • Support Apollo Opportunity Foundation grant nomination and application process, reviewing documents for completeness and adherence to Foundation standards, tracking deliverables and deadlines.
    • Draft grant memos for organizations under review including qualitative and quantitative analysis; assist in due diligence to support the AOF Grants Council in their investment process, considering program models, outcomes, revenue sources, cost-benefit, financial health, history, and leadership.
    • Analyze and synthesize industry dynamics and trends, performing research to understand topics including theory of change, competing strategies, model organizations, key trends, leadership, and funders.
    • Communicate AOF's news, impact, and select case studies internally and externally; curate LinkedIn, website, and intranet content.
    • Nurture relationship between grantees, the firm, and employees to advance select grantee Deal Teams and overall grant's impact.
    • Maintain Foundation financial model to track against projections and cash-flow needs.
    Operations (both)
    • Create and maintain databases for all information measurement, including but not limited to employee engagement tracking, financial analysis, and team and office participation rates.
    • Serve as centralized function for all Foundation-related financial, legal, and compliance information.
    • Maintain Citizenship and AOF internal microsites with most up-to-date employee resources and stories.
