It is specifically designed for those seeking a front office career in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Equity Research, Global Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
- Our 2025 VAP cohort will start January 21st, 2025. You will participate in our 22week program with the chance to interview for permanent employment during the program.
- Program Overview:
- New Joiner Orientation: attend sessions hosted by various stakeholders to learn about our culture, organizational structure, business divisions, employee benefits, and more.
- Instructorled
Business Skills Training:
in your first 2 weeks complete courses including Introduction to Excel Macros & Tools, Modeling, Valuations, Capital Markets and Wealth & Portfolio Management concepts, and more before starting with your team.
- Start your first day on your divisionally aligned team placement within one of our key business areas including Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Equity Research, Global Wealth Management or Asset Management. Your team assignments will be determined through our selection and interview process.
- Mentorship alignments
- Ongoing access to crossdivisional networking opportunities such as guest speaker sessions
- Continuous learning and development provided throughout the program, such as courses taught by an external training provider, selfpaced online courses, and business skills workshops hosted internally.
- May / June 2025: you will have an opportunity to interview for permanent employment

- Key Business Areas:
- Global Wealth Management: Chief Investment Office, Sales & Trading, Product Management & Development, Investment Management or Client Advisory
- Investment Bank: Global Banking, Global Markets (Sales and Trading), or Equity Research
- Asset Management: Portfolio Construction, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, or Private Equity
Your expertise
- Strong knowledge of
Microsoft Office:
specifically, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
- Advanced analytical and/or quantitative skills
- Demonstrated top performance throughout military career
- Exemplify leadership, teamwork and you are a culture carrier
- Can adapt and works well under pressure in a demanding corporate environment
- Produces accurate, detailed documents and presentations under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail
- Capacity to manage projects independently while assuming a high level of responsibility

Requirements:
- You must be a transitioning service member or military veteran having left active service within the past two years with Honorable Discharge
- Bachelor's degree with a wellrounded academic background (coursework preferably in finance, economics or engineering or quantitative analysis), MBA or MS is a plus
- Passing score on Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required prior to start date

Salary information
- The base rate of pay offered for this role is $60.00/hour
