An Intake Specialist's mission is to make customers feel immediately comfortable and initiatetheir positive experience with us. This initial interaction sets the tone for our clients entirejourney and is crucial to our company's success.Key Responsibilities:
1.
Client Interaction:
Handle a high volume of incoming calls from clients withprofessionalism and empathy.
Make the introduction call to the client on behalf of thefirm and send a welcoming email, initiating a positive client experience.
Gathernecessary information to understand the client's legal issue and direct calls to theappropriate attorney or legal team.2.Evidence Gathering:
Collect evidence such as police reports, photographs of injuries,property damage, and more, to organize this information for the legal team's use.
Obtain and document witness statements to support the client's case. Schedule initialdoctor appointments for clients ensuring they receive the necessary medical care.3.Data Entry:
Open claims on behalf of clients to initiate the legal process. Accuratelyrecord and maintain detailed client information and case details and ensure that allclient data is up-to-date and properly organized.4.
Follow-Up:
Facilitate an excellent follow-up process to ensure clients are kept informedof the status of their case.
Facilitate direct communication with the insurance, sendingnecessary forms, assisting with property damage, while maintaining communicationwith clients throughout their journey with the firm.5.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff members toprovide a smooth transition of cases from intake to representation. Communicate clientneeds and expectations effectively.6.
Client Relations:
Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and confidentialitywhen interacting with clients. Ensure a positive client experience and represent thefirms values at all times.7.
Grassroots Marketing:
Periodically engage in grassroots marketing efforts, utilizingpersonal and professional networks to promote the firms services. Identify potentialreferral sources, build relationships, and foster awareness of The Berman Law Groupwithin your community.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a legal intake role or similar customer service role is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of inquiriesand tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients.
Proficiency in data entry and the use of case management software.
Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
Strong follow-up skills to ensure potential clients are effectively and consistentlyengaged.
