- Assist Director of CBI with communication efforts with potential and existing doctors regarding recruitment, questions and/or feedback.
- Provide community outreach, program description and education to potential stake holders, and those doctors interested in learning about and participating in CBI. Assisting in all aspects of the credentialing process for doctors to participate in CBI for the benefit of Parker student interns.
- Assist Director of CBI with credentialing processes, completion of CBI Extension Faculty files, and the training of new CBI doctors.
- Perform, maintain, and monitor departmental internal IT programs for the application of all CBI student interns and doctors and same for clinic credit reporting IT program for all aspects of student credit submission while providing support for both doctors and students participating in CBI rotations.
- Auditing of doctors' files, as needed, for compliance with either TBCE or Medicare standards (if the doctor's office is outside the state of Texas).
- Assist in monitoring and updating departmental online orientation courses, as needed, for various aspects of participating doctors' completion (with respect to new doctor orientation and compliance courses) and interns' completion (with respect to the CBI orientation course); communicate through online courses with interns and doctors regarding questions, grades received, and comments made, as needed.
- Provide oversight of online system of intern credit submissions. Assisting the Director of CBI with Tally and Billing offices regarding errors in intern credit submissions, as needed.
- Some travel may be required for potential participating doctors' offices to verify site requirements and perform spot site visits, as needed.
- Help evaluate assigned faculty and/or staff within the University process.
- Ensure clinical operations are compliant with all licensing, regulating and governing agencies, including HIPAA and FERPA as applicable.
- Perform all supervisory responsibilities in a manner that fully complies with Parker University's human resources guidelines, and the requirements of all related federal and state regulations; adhere to all EEO/AA guidelines and regulations in hiring, placement, promotion, transfer, selection and training processes; assure that the department(s) fully meet the goals and objectives of the EEO/AA policy.
- Serve on appropriate clinic, college, and University committees and task groups as necessary and requested.
- Be chiropractic authentic and have a clear understanding of chiropractic for overall health and well-being, passion for the value that chiropractic offers humanity, and the skills to communicate all effectively.
- Expertly act according to the Parker core values, Parker Clinic Handbook, and a success consciousness that creates an environment of professionalism.
- Resource familiarity such as provided within the Employee Handbook and other established policies.
- Comply with Parker University College of Chiropractic and Clinic policies, regulations and procedures and maintain a Texas Chiropractic license as regulated by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE).
- Other required CBI Department operational duties, as needed.
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree is required from an accredited program, customary to have a bachelor's degree
- Active Texas chiropractic license in good standing
- Five years' experience in clinical education, health care and/or successful private practice is required.
- Successful track record in development and implementation and/or administration of chiropractic clinics is required.
- Advanced degree in education or related area of study is preferred.
- Prior experience in compliance, documentation/file auditing, peer and/or utilization reviews
- Proficient with MS Office such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good public relation and communication skills; professional appearance adhering to prescribed dress code.
- Good organizational skills; fluent in English, including speaking and writing skills.
- Flexible in accepting a varied work schedule (daytime, evening, and Saturday hours).
- Ability to inspire student interns in their clinical internship/preceptor programs.
- Willingness to function as a team member with a knowledge of the clinical educational processes to ensure success of program participants.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the chiropractic and Parker philosophy of health care.
- Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl with dexterity and mobility; ability to perform job related activity.
- Requires ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand and walk.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to twenty-five (12) pounds and/or exert up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force.

The Support and Outreach Doctor will assist the Director of CBI with various departmental objectives including, but not limited to, community outreach for development, communication, and implementation of clinical rotations, credentialing procedures and verification of requirements for doctors being considered for addition into the CBI program; ensure attainment and/or completion of required records for credentialing processes; monitor and review credits for both participating interns and doctors; participate in application processes and assignment of student interns; oversight of existing doctors' offices participating in CBI with assigned interns, as needed.
