    Practice Area

    The Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice (CFS) combines rich expertise in corporate strategy concepts with a management methodology designed to create sustainable value-add for BCG clients. Our team provides extensive experience in planning and implementing corporate transactions including merger & acquisition deals and divestitures. We deliver analytic approaches that allow senior management to effectively deal with challenges such as generating growth, managing a portfolio of assets, forming a world-class finance organization, understanding risk, and responding to the way capital markets assess companies today. Taking swift action in turning around and restructuring a business for long-term survival is also part of our offering.

    What You'll Do

    In this role you will bring expert level experience and credibility to our cases and business development opportunities and help build out our Transactions & Integrations practice. Responsibilities include:

    Contribute to business development and proposal efforts:

    • Key support for proposal creation and presentation: Provide content expertise around specific topics, actas key topic content lead for proposals or other business development work
    • Support development and execution of commercial outreach programs in collaboration with our IndustryPractice Areas

    Assist clients as they execute their Post Merger Integration, M&A, and/or Carve-out efforts:

    • Act as project manager for an entire case or a module on select topic. Define and drive the projectapproach, supervise BCG consulting team members and manage day to day client interactions
    • Ensure the quality of the work and the relevance of the synthesis and recommendations. Challenge thework in progress and the results; reorient the work approach and analyses as needed
    • Advise case teams on broad and specific issues related to T&I topics by providing expertise andleveraging BCG intellectual capital

    Build BCG's Transactions and Integrations (T&I) practice:

    • Contribute to improve internal methodology and tools and lead topic development on areas of expertiserelated to Post Merger Integration, M&A, and/or Carve-out
    • Contribute to BCG intellectual property which are shared with alumni and clients

    Prepare and present BCG T&I experience and capabilities at internal conferences

    What You'll Bring

    • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of consulting experience preferred
    • Post Merger Integration, M&A, and/or Carve-out experiences
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop high level of credibility with senior clients
    • Advanced degree preferred
    • Bonus: Additional relevant experience with large transformations or organizational restructuring

    Transactions & Integrations (T&I) is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses in BCG and our team is continuously expanding to support this growth. In this role you will be a part of our Expert Consulting Team that works with T&I cadre members across North America. In this role, you will report to the North America T&I Regional Leader.

    The Expert Consulting Track (ECT) is vital to BCG's ability to successfully meet our clients' demand for deep expertise and advanced technical capabilities. Experts deliver next-level impact for BCG's most complex and cutting-edge client challenges. Experts focus on developing BCG's thought leadership, commercial capabilities, and intellectual property assets; and their work is essential to our delivery model. Working alongside our traditional and specialty consultants to bring the 'best of BCG' to our clients, Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise often gained outside of BCG in industry, academia, or specialized consulting. As an Expert Associate Director, you will apply your deep expertise to generate value for our clients while building and contributing to BCG's intellectual capital. Your role in projects can vary from team management to team advisor. You will leverage your expertise to add insight and drive clients toward recommendations and you will be viewed as a trusted advisor by senior clients. You will help scope and structure the work, onboard team members, and provide guidance throughout the project. Expert Associate Directors contribute significantly to BCG's intellectual capital, generate interest and excitement about their expertise area, and coach and mentor others.

    The role will be based in one of our US offices.

    The first year base compensation for this role is:
    Associate Director: $252,900 USD

    In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus and BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution. BCG also provides a market leading benefits package described below.
