    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Finance Application Engineer to serve as the IT owner and liaison for multiple enterprise solutions within our Finance team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in law firm finance workflows to effectively bridge the gap between IT and Finance, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of critical applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary IT owner of various enterprise solutions within the Finance team, serving as the key liaison between IT and Finance stakeholders.
    • Lead the implementation, upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and roadmap development of finance-related applications.
    • Provide direct oversight and management of assigned solutions, serving as the subject matter expert and ensuring their health and stability.
    • Act as a point of contact for technical support, addressing end-user inquiries and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors such as Elite, IntApp, and others, staying abreast of roadmap developments and industry trends.
    • Monitor, track, and report on the performance and capacity of finance applications, and drive capacity planning efforts as needed.
    • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop and deliver enhancements, provide training materials, and ensure quality assurance for supported applications.
    • Maintain accurate architecture and support documentation, adhere to change management processes, and participate in SDLC and incident management activities.
    • Provide leadership and coaching to junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.

    Requirements:

    Proficiencies:

    • Strong communication, organization, negotiation, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of multi-tier architecture, Windows Server, system integrations, monitoring tools, and security best practices.
    • Proficiency in SQL Server, SQL development/queries, scripting languages such as PowerShell, and data governance best practices.
    • Experience with project management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
    • Familiarity with desktop and mobile application installation and configurations.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 7 years of information technology experience, with at least 5 years working with enterprise platforms.
    • At least 2 years of experience with CRM solutions.
    • Minimum 3 years of executive-level engagement and customer service experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment.
