    EVENT RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the successful execution of monthly outdoor artist markets across 5 sites in the CA Bay Area (Napa, Mill Valley, Walnut Creek, Santana Row, and Los Gatos)
    • Review and curate maker applications for all CA Bay Area markets
    • Conduct all communication with Makers for all CA Bay Area markets
    • Ensure proper day-of execution of CA Bay Area outdoor market events including but not limited to: staffing, event mapping, maker communication, property team coordination
    • Recruit and manage musician talent across all CA Bay Area markets
    • Identify new sites and opportunities for CA Bay Area outdoor markets to grow revenue and stay competitive with other maker events
    • Manage negotiations with property managers for both new and renewing outdoor market sites
    • Partner with CA Bay Area store managers for store-level events (e.g. maker pop-ups, workshops, etc.)
    • Manage marketing across multiple social media and other media channels for all events
    • Take photography and video to use for event marketing.
    • Coordinate event task execution with internal or external resources as needed

    MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage master marketing calendar for all corporate, store-level, and event-level marketing campaigns and activations
    • Plan and manage social media marketing strategy and execution
    • Plan and manage long lead marketing initiatives and execution
    • Plan and manage PR initiatives and execution
    • Lead and oversee creation of marketing content for all channels
    • Manage marketing relationship with store properties for both store and event marketing needs
    • Manage all influencer marketing initiatives; recruit and foster relationships with influencers at both brand and local levels
    • Ensure the integrity of the brand is being communicated and maintained in all outward facing content and touchpoints
    • Coordinates marketing task execution with internal or external resources as needed

    • Enjoys a hybrid experience of home office work and on-site activation management.
    • Enjoys moving between tasks and projects that are analytical, administrative, strategic, and creative.
    • Has a flexible schedule that allows for managing outdoor artist markets on some Saturdays and occasional Sundays.
    • Is a natural at creating and fostering relationships with partners, vendors, makers, media, and more
    • Can easily resolve incidents and conflicts that naturally occur in event execution and management.
    • Has a degree in marketing or related field AND/OR has equivalent work experience.
    • Has event planning and event execution experience.
    • Has experience working in brick-and-mortar retail and/or D2C ecommerce in any capacity.
    • Has experience managing brands in social media channels.
    • Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to various store and market sites in the CA Bay Area as needed.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    • $66,560 annual salary
