    Description
    In this role, Physical Security Officers (PSO's) can expect to be working in demanding and fast-paced environments. PSO's may find themselves working in a wide range of areas, including medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Additionally PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.

    Shifts Available:

    • 1:30PM - 10:30PM Saturday & Sunday (16 hours/week)
    • 12AM - 8AM Saturday & 8PM - 8AM Sunday (20 hours/week)
    • 5:30AM - 1:30PM Saturday & Sunday (16 hours/week)

    Job Duties / Essential Functions


    •Delivering high end customer service


    •Responding to emergencies


    •Deterring and preventing crime


    •Performing ingress/ egress control procedures


    •Investigating incidents


    •Completing daily logs and incident reports


    •Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols


    •Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers


    •De-escalating conflicts


    •Detaining suspects


    •Monitoring CCTV cameras


    •Performing other related duties as assigned



    Requirements

    Skills / Qualifications

    • ACT 235 (current)
    • Current and valid DL
    • High school diploma or GED
    • (1) year experience in armed security recommended
    • Must be able to pass PAT and ASO course
    • Must be able to pass drug screen
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient time management skills
    • Reliable transportation
    • Excellent de-escalation skills
    • Proficient firearms skills
    • Extensive use of force knowledge
    • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
