    Full TimeSchedule: 40 hours/weekPreference: TERO Ordinance , P.L Job SummaryThe Custodian is responsible for the cleaning of the Tribe's Dena'ina Wellness Center (DWC) to include pharmacy, medical records, billing, radiology, laboratory, medical exam rooms, physical therapy treatment rooms, dental operatory rooms, instrument sterilization rooms, elevators.

    Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Infection Control Program and the CARF accreditation standards. Essential FunctionsDaily TasksEmpty all trash cans and replace liners.

    Wipe down outside/inside of garbage cans as neededVacuum and mop all floors daily and weekly, spot clean carpets if neededTransfer Biohazard Waste to the proper storage roomClean all bathroom sinks, toilets and mirrorsClean tables in break rooms and chairs, clean sinks in breakrooms and coffee stations with disinfectantClean Elevator inside and outside, including doors, clean all glass inside doors and windows, clean all door knobs and handles, wipe window sills and woodworkEnsure doors and windows are locked when finished; security of the buildings is a priorityEnsures compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies, and TERO ordinanceIt is the intent of this job description to highlight the essential functions of the position; however, it is not an all-inclusive list.

    The incumbent may be called upon and required to follow or perform other duties and tasks requested by his/her supervisor, consistent with the purpose of the position, department and/or the Kenaitze Indian Tribe's objectives.
