    The Business:

    Our client stands as a dynamic $20m building materials dealer catering to both commercial and residential remodels, as well as builders within the bustling Indianapolis market. With an impressive track record of maintaining a steady 30% year-over-year growth, they prioritize delivering exceptional made-to-order products and installation services customized to suit their clients' varied requirements. Furthermore, their extensive market reach extends to an industrial division, serving a diverse range of customers.

    The Opportunity:

    As the General Manager, your key responsibilities will include crafting and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive growth initiatives. This will involve coordinating efficiencies across logistics and dispatch operations, as well as optimizing resources to enhance the company's growth potential. You will lead a team of 15, overseeing P & L management and day-to-day operations. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to network with clients and cultivate meaningful relationships.

    What you will need to be successful:

    • Proven track record of developing and implementing go-to-market strategies by driving business development initiatives and nurturing sales territories to achieve revenue expansion.
    • Achieving continuous sales growth through the cultivation of meaningful relationships.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in managing P & L responsibilities.
    • Expertise in logistics management and operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
    • Fully embracing the organizational culture, marked by collaborative teamwork, customer focus, ongoing learning and enhancement, and an enterprising mindset.
    • Leading a team by example and implementing customer excellence strategies to drive business growth.
