    Description

    SageHome, a market leader in the aging-in-place home improvement space, is experiencing INCREDIBLE GROWTH and is on its way to becoming the largest bathroom remodeler in North America. We are the bathroom experts, and our business is selling and installing walk-in tubs and walk-in showers to provide a safe, modern look to our customers' homes. Backed by the resources and expertise of Cairngorm Capital, we are experiencing tremendous growth via organic expansion and acquisition activity with a goal to build out a nationwide business in less than five years. We have made it our mission to bring healthcare and home services together to deliver high-quality home modification products and services to our customers. We're currently looking to fill the role of General Manager for our largest company, New Bath Today. New Bath Today is Kohler's largest dealer for Walk-in Bathtubs and Showers. Currently operating in 11 states throughout the Midwest and Southeast.

    The General Manager is a key leadership position within the organization, with overall accountability for the day-to-to operations of New Bath Today, including full P&L responsibility, overseeing all enterprise initiatives, the satisfaction of our people and partners and delivering outstanding customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle. A successful General Manager will effectively partner with all levels and departments of the New Bath Today organization to ensure we deliver against our goals and objectives. The General Manager must ensure all policies and procedures of the company are being followed by employees, sales representatives, and installation partners while holding the team to the highest standards of performance and customer service. This position is accountable for the overall success of New Bath Today. The essential areas of accountability include the sales process, the installation process, customer satisfaction, leadership of New Bath Today team members, productive relationships with SageHome Shared Services and Sr. Leadership members, and overall financial outcomes for New Bath Today.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Implements and executes plans to complement SageHome's strategic operating plan for New Bath Today; champions the execution of the strategic plan and tactical initiatives within New Bath Today, including but not limited to operating safely, enhancing customer experience, improving efficiency, and maximizing profitability.
    • Oversee and manage a large multi-state in-home salesforce.
    • Oversee and manage a large multi-state installer network along with 8 regional warehouses.
    • Accountability for sales, install and customer service KPI's.
    • Full operational responsibility for profit and loss related activities.
    • Works with Area and Region sales management to drive sales efforts within the company to achieve targeted growth objectives, exceed customer experience expectations and optimize profitability.
    • Oversees effective safety and accident prevention programs to ensure all reasonable action is taken to prevent accidents and injuries; ensures a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
    • Leads operations to ensure compliance with all standards including environmental, operating, regulatory, safety, accounting, and ethics.
    • Manages performance and talent development within all departments of the company.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or relevant related experience will be considered.
    • 5 – 7 years of business experience in sales and / or operations, with a minimum of 3 years of related field leadership experience preferably within the home improvement industry.

    IDEAL QUALITIES

    • 7 + years of leadership experience within the home improvement industry with previous Business Growth P&L responsibility.
    • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
    • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
    • Experience with employee relations, talent management/engagement, team building, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
    • Superior management skills, excellent time management, planning, and forward-thinking skills.
    • Must demonstrate ability to work with and influence peers and management.
    • Expert familiarity with applicable building codes and practices.

    • Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and an ability to execute against formulated strategy.
    • Ability to lead large scale change initiatives.
