    Your Role and Responsibilities


    In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.


    Within this role, you will be responsible selling IBM consulting portfolio and will collaborate with the dedicated Client team that supports AT&T.

    The role requires you to cultivate existing relationships with the Client, while also helping IBM to extend our reach by creating new Client relationships.


    As a Consulting Leader, you will be responsible for leading the sales cycle on specific IBM pursuits, which includes opportunity identification, the leadership of progression activities (i.e., pilots, briefings, proposals) and closing of opportunities.


    Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and/or support world-class information technology architecture for IBM's clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs.
    • Conduct architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
    • Design, build, deliver, and run the engagement, platform, and/or product's required architecture (i.e. development, operations, execution, data, and application).
    • Provide the work's technical conscience by defining and driving the right solution to meet the technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs.
    • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals.
    • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and make decisions that will be implemented by the team.
    • Design and ensure that technology standards are followed and evolve over time. * Identify new growth areas for IBM to drive incremental revenue from existing client.
    Required Technical and Professional Expertise


    • Significant sales/delivery experience in Telecom and M&E clients, 5 years of sales experience
    • Very good domain knowledge on Telecom & M&E business
    • Experience in identifying new opportunities by analyzing program strategies, technology shifts, market conditions and mission objectives* Experience in building relationships and engaging with clients to support opportunity pipeline.
    • Ability to drive sales for complex technical engagements, to include learning technical material and working across technology ecosystems
    • Track-record of developing and maintaining a long-term sales pipeline, and progressing opportunities through the pipeline
    • Experience in handling multi-million $ portfolio with revenue and profit targets
    • Very good knowledge in finance including handling budget, revenue, cost and profit.
    • Experience leading technical discussions with senior customers that lead to deal-closure.

The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
