Product Job Details About Salesforce We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you've come to the right place. We are looking for a Vice President of Product to join the MuleSoft team to inspire, lead, and grow our world-class team. This leader will be responsible for leading the fast-growing RPA product line as part of our broader Automation portfolio across Salesforce. This portfolio is used by tens of thousands of companies around the world, driving significant economic impact, and our emerging investment in RPA is a critical pillar for its future success. As Vice President of Product for RPA, you will own the vision & strategy for one of the growth engines of our $2B+ business. This person will be responsible for effective executive stakeholder engagement, developing portfolio roadmaps, strategic planning, and operational execution. They will need to demonstrate deep functional-technical-operational expertise in enterprise software delivery, with a preference for those who have worked on automation products, in particular in the RPA domain. They will need to understand the ongoing requirements of the business and product portfolio, and act as a critical member of the MuleSoft product executive team. Candidates must be passionate about building enterprise-grade platforms that surprise and delight customers, with a bias for customer success and growth over delivery. The RPA product team is located in San Francisco and Germany, with engineering distributed between the USA, Germany, and Argentina. This person will be able to collaborate across global time zones and travel is sometimes required to each of these locations. Key Leadership Competencies
    • Builds Trust and Credibility: Is accountable for everything that their team does, and encourages transparency and psychological safety within and across teams. Makes data-driven decisions for the benefit of customers, and consistent with the company's core values. Ability to set and maintain a clear vision from stakeholder and market engagement. Models a growth mindset to build a culture of learning, and shares mistakes widely for others to benefit and support.
    • Focus on Customer Success: Builds and maintains relationships with external and internal customers and stakeholders; obsessive-focus on solutions that have significant positive impact on their business.
    • Innovate for Growth: Always thinking about how to innovate and improve our products and our business; mapping these to our corporate strategy. Stays abreast of market and technology trends, to ensure we're always on the front foot.
    • Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate details into bigger picture implications that manage risk and drive the business forward, and never afraid to challenge the status quo. Understands the larger Automation domain and dynamics, with the intellectual horse-power to manage complexity across many teams and projects. Aligns the right resources to the task at hand; foresees and plans around obstacles.
    • Lead & Adapt to Change: Thrives in a changing, dynamic environment and can drive operational consistency and efficiency to be resilient to changing needs. Relishes leading even when times are tough and models the Salesforce GREAT Leader characteristics: Salesforce Smart, Get it Done, Win as a Team, Motivate and Champion, and Courageous Communication.
