    Description

    The Division of Hospice and Palliative Medicine within the Department of Family Medicine at UVMHN is on the lookout for a dedicated physician to expand our thriving palliative care program. As an integral member, you'll have the opportunity to shape and lead our initiatives at Porter Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital, and Helen Porter, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient palliative care consults at both PMC and Helen Porter.
  • Occasionally offer consults in outpatient or home settings.
  • Spearhead the evolution of Porter's Palliative Care Program.
  • Oversee the fellowship program, devising clinical curriculum, and managing administrative tasks.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, ranging from curriculum development to quality improvement.What We Offer:
