    The Certified Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in the patient care team within an ambulatory setting. Working closely with providers from various specialties, as well as with clinical and administrative staff, to ensure exceptional patient care and contribute to positive health outcomes.     Responsibilities:

    • Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
    • Prepare patients for appointments, assist in various tasks, and ensure a smooth in-office experience.
    • Collaborate with Front Desk staff to optimize patient care and flow.
    • Perform various clinical tasks such as venipuncture and specimen collection.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and efficient patient safety measures.
    • Assist with in-office procedures and maintain diagnostic equipment.
    • Maintain a clean and safe treatment room environment.
    • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and patient privacy policies at all times.
    • Participate in ongoing training and maintain a safe work environment.

    Qualifications:

    • High school graduate and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
    • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
    • Current BCLS/AED certification necessary.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Basic computer proficiency.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours across multiple locations.
