Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in assisting Doctor to do Doctor House calls in visiting patient homes.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical staff in a hospital setting.
Duties:
- Assist Doctor in doing House calls to Patient Home's
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring their comfort and privacy
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Educate patients on proper medication use and inhalation techniques
- Assist with patient service activities, such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and providing information on medical procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
