- DEBT RECOVERY MANAGEMENT
Oversee the process of debt recovery, including payment plans with delinquent accounts, to ensure the collection of payments. - TEAM LEADERSHIP AND TRAINING
Manage and lead a team of collections agents or specialists. Provide training and development to enhance their skills and effectiveness in collections. - POLICY AND PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT
Develop, implement, and maintain collections policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency and compliance with regulations. - FINANCIAL REPORTING
Monitor and report on the status of collections activities, including creating detailed reports on accounts receivable and collection efforts. - CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Handle escalated customer disputes and inquiries related to billing and collections. Ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies. - LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Ensure all collections activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including understanding fair debt collection practices. - TECHNOLOGY AND TOOL MANAGEMENT
Use and manage technology solutions that support the collections process, such as collections software systems and EDI - COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION
You will communicate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to provide a unified approach to customer account management. - PERFORMANCE METRICS
Establish and monitor performance metrics for the collections department to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.- Report Weekly on BS-7 Top Accounts to Director
- Drive Escalations from Team
- Drive monthly Collections Call with Sales Team
- Make sure EDI transmission runs with no Errors.
- Drive Development plans on team members
- Set Expectations on Performance with the team.
- Drive all initiatives from the Director Of SSC
- Report to the Director on all System issues and Enhancement Request
- Maintain oversight on Spring POD Field Report status.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve past-due accounts.
- Complete all assigned tasks and Projects Director of SSC assigned.
- 5 years of experience in collections or a related field, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Experience improving collections strategies and results.
- Experience managing a team of collections professionals.
- Knowledge with the Fair Debt Collection Practices
- Superior skills in financial analysis
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Travel 0-10%
