    Welcome to Barry University School of Law Research Assistant Position

    At Barry University School of Law, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join us as a Research Assistant for Professor Joanmarie Davoli. If you are a Barry University School of Law student who has completed the first year of Law School and you are in good academic standing, then you might be the perfect fit for this temporary, part-time role.


    Job Overview:

    • Assist professor in scholarly work by researching assigned topics using resources like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
    • Complete various writing assignments and additional research requests.
    • Perform edits and citing checks on the professor's articles.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Excellent analytical and research skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Specialized knowledge of Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw information systems.
    • Strong writing skills and a desire to learn in the specific legal area assigned.
