Horizontal Talent is seeking a skilled and collaborative Project Manager to join a welcoming company in Maplewood. This contract role will lead the production and execution of artwork and small-scale design adaptation for projects simple to complex in scope (packaging design updates, collateral, etc) and offers an attractive pay rate for your dedication.

As a Packaging Designer, you will perform professional functions as outlined in a service-level agreement. Areas of responsibility may include Human Resources, Marketing, or Sales.

During your first few weeks in this Packaging Designer role, you can expect to take on some of the following:

Promoting artwork consistency and design content accuracy within the brand's guidelines
Collaborating across many functions/disciplines within the Client (marketing, manufacturing, legal, etc) and with external production agencies
Managing project estimates, budgets, and timelines with key partners
Adapting and working well with defined approaches, systems, and processes while promoting continuous improvement to improve operational efficiency
Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external agency partners

The successful Project Manager applicant will have a Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) with 4 years of packaging graphics experience within the creative and/or printing industry OR a High School Diploma with 8 years of packaging graphics experience. Additional qualifications include:

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Human Resources knowledge
Ability to work with budget and manage time effectively
Proficiency in Graphic Arts and Packaging Design
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with agency partners
