    Description

    Title: Project Manager

    Location: Minneapolis/ St. Paul area (3 days in Twin Cities)

    Type: Contract through EOY, likely to extend

    Pay: $50-$61

    Job description:

    Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for one of our largest medical device clients. For this role, you must be local to Minneapolis, MN and willing to work onsite up to 3x a week in Arden Hills. The ideal candidate has strong experience driving projects from scratch, organizing teams, managing communication and stakeholder relationships, and building comprehensive project plans and roadmaps. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing change management plans to ensure successful adoption of project deliverables. The ability to lead teams through solution assessment, RFP processes and vendor selection skills are essential for this role.

    Requirements:

    Bachelors degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field.

    Proven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successfully leading initiatives from inception to completion.

    Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate teams, manage communication, and build stakeholder relationships.

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.

    Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) to develop and manage project plans and timelines.

    Experience in change management methodologies and techniques, with the ability to develop and implement effective change management plans.

    Experience leading teams through solution assessment, RFP processes, and vendor selection is highly desirable.

    Key responsibilities:

    Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

    Drive the development of project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.

    Organize and coordinate project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient execution.

    Manage communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and milestones.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

    Develop comprehensive project roadmaps, outlining key milestones, dependencies, and critical paths to guide project execution.

    Implement effective change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of project deliverables and minimize resistance to change.

    Lead teams through solution assessment, RFP processes, and vendor selection, ensuring the selection of the best-fit solutions and vendors for project needs.

    Lead teams on agile frameworks, facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to agile principles and practices.

    Identify and mitigate risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to ensure project success.

    Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and analyze project data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

    Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and reviews, fostering collaboration and alignment among project team members and stakeholders.
