    **Senior Product Line Manager - Optical Receivers and Modulators** Location Name: **San Jose,California,USA** Description: NeoPhotonics is building solutions for tomorrow in communications, cloud & cloud services, AI-enabled computing, transportation and its ecosystem, inter-satellite communications and autonomous vehicles all areas where leading technology in the highest speed optoelectronics is critical to make the world more connected, mobile, efficient, and accessible.

    In this role, youll own, develop, and drive the product and market strategy for our advanced optical receiver and modulator solutions. These responsibilities include:

    Research and articulate market directions, technology trends, standards, customer requirements and competitive threats

    Establish Business Cases (including Marketing Requirements Documents - MRD) for new products

    Manage entire product life cycle and Profit & Loss (P&L) of NeoPhotonics advanced optical receiver and modulator portfolio

    Drive key marketing functions including pricing, forecasting, sales support, feature prioritization, and collateral creation, as well as trade show support

    Present products to customers and support Sales for design wins and to grow the business at lead customers and through sales channels

    Lead and project manage cross-functional product teams

    **Qualifications**

    **BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Computer Science** (or equivalent), with **5+ years experience in high-tech industry in product marketing, product management, technical sales, and/ or support roles**. *Our ideal candidate has optoelectronics experience, however lacking this, semiconductor, network, and/or telecommunications industry experience is required*

    Demonstrated highly proficient **marketing skills** with the ability to partner closely with field sales, tech. support, engineering, and operations.

    **Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills**

    **Strong Interpersonal Skills** and experience **Leading Cross-Functional Teams**

    **Ability to Deliver Products as Promised, On-Time, and within acceptable Cost**

    Computer proficient with **Microsoft Office**

    **Preferred Skills**

    **MS in Engineering or Computer Science or MBA**

    Previous experience in **product marketing/management in the optical transmission market**

    **International Business Experience**

    Foreign language skills - **Mandarin** is preferred
