    Description

    Product Engineer

    Sanborn Technologies is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of centrifuge, membrane separation and aeration mixing systems for industrial and municipal process applications.

    We have an immediate opening for a Product Engineer to join our team to support the development and production of customized system designs and provide our customers with technical support.

    This position will

    • Support sales function to assess process and application inquiries and evaluate inquiry feasibility.
    • Partner with manufacturing to support assembly, testing, product inspection, through to ensuring shipping requirements are met.
    • Provide support post sale in collaboration with field services
    • Engineer chemical process and design changes post sale to improve system function.
    • Source and quote on component purchasing to support system development
    • Coordinate and maintain documentation for items such as: O&M manuals, drawings, and schematics.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering preferred.
    • Understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
    • Ability to read and interpret fabrication, machining, assembly, and other related schematics and drawings.
    • Excellence in creativity, critical thinking and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
    • Experience with an ERP system (Workwise ERP preferred)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite
